UAE weather: What to expect from Monday to Friday this week
The working week ahead brings largely fair skies across the UAE, with a few things worth keeping an eye on depending on where you are and what you have planned.
Monday, 9 June
Coastal areas can expect humidity by night, with a chance of mist forming. Low clouds will appear along the East Coast. Winds will be light to moderate, south-westerly to north-westerly, with gusts reaching up to 40km/h at times. In the Arabian Gulf, seas will be slight to moderate but could turn rough by the afternoon. The Oman Sea will remain slight to moderate.
Tuesday, 10 June
Fair conditions generally, but winds picking up enough to cause blowing dust. Expect the same wind range of 10 to 25km/h, gusting to 40km/h. The Arabian Gulf will be moderate to rough at times. The Oman Sea stays slight.
Wednesday, 11 June
Mostly fair, with some partial cloud cover expected towards the east. Dust remains a possibility as winds maintain the same pattern. The Arabian Gulf starts rough but eases to moderate and then slight through the day. The Oman Sea stays slight.
Thursday, 12 June
Fair skies but dusty spells are likely during the day, with blowing dust and sand. Wind conditions remain consistent with earlier in the week. The Arabian Gulf will be slight to moderate, turning rough again by night. The Oman Sea stays slight.
Friday, 13 June
Another fair but dusty day. Winds continue in the same range with gusts to 40km/h bringing dust and sand. The Arabian Gulf will be rough to moderate. The Oman Sea stays slight.
It is a fair week overall, but dust is a recurring factor from Tuesday onwards. In the Arabian Gulf seas will be rough at various points across all five days. The Oman Sea remains calmer throughout.
